Wayne County CEO Warren C. Evans to Declare a State of Emergency Due to Flooding Caused by Excessive Rainfall
DETROIT, MI -Wayne County CEO Warren C. Evans plans to declare a State of Emergency in response to excessive rain and flooding. As a result, the County Executive will host a press conference on Friday, August 25 at 10:00 a.m.
The press conference will be held at Canton City Hall, located at 1150 S Canton Center Road, and will address torrential rain, flooding and clean-up efforts. Congresswoman Debbie Dingell and Canton Township Supervisor Anne Marie Graham-Hudak will also be in attendance.
Under the State of Emergency, the County hopes to expedite additional resources to provide aid for residents in hard-hit communities.
