Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged Antoinette Denise Moore, 51, (DOB: 08/24/1970), of Detroit, in connection with the fatal shooting of Willie Grant Jr., 47, also of Detroit. The defendant and the victim were residing together at the time of the incident.

On June 24, 2022, at approximately 8:03 p.m., Detroit police officers were dispatched to a residence in the 16020 block of Bringard Street in Detroit for a reported shooting. Upon their arrival, officers located the victim lying face down in the front lawn with a gunshot wound to the back. Antoinette Denise Moore has been charged with one count of Premediated First-Degree Murder, one count of Tampering with Evidence, and one count of Felony Firearm. *

She was arraigned yesterday afternoon in 36th District Court before Magistrate Joseph A. Boyer and given a $1,000,000 cash/surety bond.
