Dearborn Heights Man Charged in Dearborn Non-Fatal Shooting
Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged Haider Mohammed Al-Jebori, 60, of Dearborn Heights, in connection with a non-fatal shooting that took place at a banquet hall in the 5100 block of South Oakman Boulevard in Dearborn.
On October 13, 2023, at approximately 7:13 p.m., Dearborn police officers were dispatched to a banquet hall in the 5100 block of South Oakman Boulevard for a reported shooting. Upon their arrival, officers made contact with the defendant.
It is alleged that Defendant Al-Jebori produced and fired a handgun multiple times inside of the hall. No one was injured in the shooting.
Haider Mohammed Al-Jebori has been charged with Assault with Intent to Murder, Assault with Intent to do Great Bodily Harm, Discharge in or at a Building, Felonious Assault, and four counts of Felony Firearm. *
He was arraigned this morning in 19th District Court before Judge Sam Salamey and given a $500,000 cash bond. The Probable Cause Conference is scheduled for October 24, 2023, at 8:00 a.m., before Judge Mark Somers. Please request a photograph of the defendant from the Dearborn Police Department.
