Detroit Woman Charged with Assault of Ice Cream Shop Employee
On April 27, 2022, at approximately 6:55 p.m., at an ice cream store in the 16820 block of Kercheval in Grosse Pointe, it is alleged that Miller came into the store and a verbal altercation escalated, and Defendant Miller threw a heavy metal scale and flowers that were on the counter at the victim.
Veda Lynn Miller has been charged with one count of Felonious Assault, and one count of Malicious Destruction of Property between $200 - $1,000. *
She was arraigned this morning at the Grosse Pointe Municipal Court and given a $10,000 personal bond. The Probable Cause Conference is scheduled for May 19, 2022, at 9:30 a.m., and the Preliminary Examination is scheduled for June 9, 2022, at 9:30 a.m., before Judge Russell Ethridge.
