Myron Williams - Defendant charged with the May 15, 2013 Grosse Pointe Park homicide of Sabrina Gianino on Wayburn street. Today Williams was referred for a compency evaluation and criminal responsibility today. The new preliminary examination date is October 10, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. in Grosse Pointe Municipal Court.

The Wayne County Prosecutor's Office has received a warrant request for a DPD officer and for a St. Clair Shores officer. The warrant request is being reviewed and a charging decision is not expected today.

Lavere Bryant - Charged with the Family Dollar double homicide. The preliminary examination in the case is set for 8:30 a.m. tomorrow in Dearborn's 19th District Court before Chief Judge Sam Salamey.

Prosecutor Worthy to Announce Charges in Multiple Child Death Cases Prosecutor Kym L. Worthy will hold a press conference on Thursday, August 1, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. to announce charges in multiple child death cases. The press conference will be held in the 12th Floor Offices of the Wayne County Prosecutor located at 1441 St. Antoine in Detroit.
This conference is open only members of the press. We request that reporters be prepared to show a press credential upon entry.
