State Senator Virgil Smith - The Wayne County Prosecutor's Office has recently received the returned warrant request from the Detroit Police Department and it is currently being reviewed. An update will be sent out when a charging decision has been made.
UPDATE: Smith was arraigned in 36th District Court today and received a $25,000/10% bond. His probable cause hearing will be held on May 22, 2015 and his preliminary examination will be held on May 29, 2015.

Michael Sykes - Case Number 15-708017 - The Defendant was bound over on all charges and the arraignment on the information date is May 20, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. The People made a motion to block the victim's faces and distort their voices, which the Court granted. There was no change in bond.

Terrance Kellom Fatal Shooting Case - The Wayne County Prosecutor's has received the paperwork from the Michigan State Police/ Detroit Police Department Homicide Task Force related to the fatal shooting of Terrance Kellom, 20, of Detroit on April 27, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at a home in the 9500 block of Evergreen. The Wayne County Prosecutor's Office will conduct a separate and independent investigation of the matter.
