Inkster Man Charged in Murder of Girlfriend
On Friday, March 30, 2018, Prosecutor Kym Worthy charged Jerome Duckwyler, 35, (DOB: 10/21/1982), in connection with the homicide of his girlfriend, Michelle Nicole Briscoe, (DOB: 09/09/1981), both of Inkster. On March 29, 2018 at approximately 6:30 a.m., at an apartment in the 250 block of Cherry Valley Drive, it is alleged that Duckwyler fatally shot Ms. Briscoe multiple times. The Inkster police were dispatched to the location where they discovered Ms. Briscoe's lifeless body and placed Duckwyler under arrest.
Defendant Duckwyler has been charged with First Degree Murder and Felony Firearm.* He was arraigned and remanded to jail on Saturday, March 31, 2018 in 34th District Court in Romulus. He will have a probable cause hearing before Judge Sabrina Johnson on April 11, 2018 in 22nd District Court in Inkster.
*The charges are allegations unless and until the defendant is convicted.
