National Crime Victims' Rights Week is Coming
National Crime Victims' Rights Week is April 8th through April 14th, 2018. This year's theme, Expand the Circle, Reach all Victims emphasizes the importance of inclusion in victim services. The theme addresses how the crime victims field can better ensure that every crime victim has access to services and support, as well as how professionals, organizations, and communities can work together to reach all victims.
Events schedule during National Crime Victims' Rights Week
April 8th - Crime Victims' Awareness Walk, 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Clark Park, 1130 Clark St., Detroit in collaboration with the Detroit Crime Victims Action Team. See flyer attached.
April 11th - Express Through the Pain Art Project at KidsTalk Poetry Slam at the Museum of Contemporary Art from 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. See flyer attached.
