Three Defendants Charged In Momo's Poker Room Robbery
Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged Nickolas Jonathan Frederick, 30, of Dearborn Heights with three counts of Armed Robbery, 25 counts of Felonious Assault and Felony Firearm. On April 1, 2016 at approximately 12:57 a.m., it is alleged Nickolas Frederick, Michael Pennington and Daniel William Frederick went to Momo's Lounge located in the 5800 block of Telegraph in Taylor, and robbed patrons and employees of the lounge during a charity poker event.
Nickolas Jonathan Frederick - 16706635-01 - was arraigned this morning before Judge Joseph Slaven in the 23rd District Court in Taylor. The Probable Cause Conference is scheduled for April 18, 2016 at 8:30 a.m.; the Preliminary Examination is scheduled for April 25, 2016 at 8:30 a.m., both hearings before Judge Slaven. He received a $400,000 cash/surety bond.
Michael Eugene Pennington, 26, of Flat Rock - 16706519-01 - was arraigned yesterday before Judge Joseph Slaven. The defendant was charged with three counts of Armed Robbery, 25 counts of Felonious Assault. The Probable Cause Conference is scheduled for April 18, 2016 at 8:30 a.m.; the Preliminary Examination is scheduled for April 25, 2016 at 8:30 a.m., both hearings before Judge Slaven. He received a $50,000 cash/surety/10% bond.
Daniel William Frederick, 29, of Dearborn Heights - 16706519-02 - was arraigned yesterday before Judge Joseph Slaven. The Probable Cause Conference scheduled for April 18, 2016 at 8:30 a.m.; the Preliminary Examination is scheduled for April 25, 2016 at 8:30 a.m., both hearings before Judge Slaven. He received a $600,000 cash/surety bond. The defendant was charged with three counts of Armed Robbery, 25 counts of Felonious Assault, Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Felony Firearm.
