Wayne County Clerk
Department Organization
The goal of the Wayne County Clerk is to promote efficient, timely world-class services
at a fair cost to the residents of Wayne County as well as other members of the
public requiring our services.
In her official capacity, the County Clerk is responsible for processing of Civil,
Criminal and Juvenile court cases for the 3rd
Judicial Circuit Court as well as
the maintenance of court case files and related financial services. She also has
oversight of all Federal, State and County elections occurring in Wayne County.
In addition she also serves as the general keeper of official records for Wayne
County, such as births and deaths, marriages, concealed weapons permits, etc. The
County Clerk also has the responsibility of providing printing and copying services
for Wayne County departments.
