Commission Meeting Schedules
The Wayne County Commission holds full boards meetings twice a month,
generally on the first and third Thursday. The vote on the final adoption of
any resolution or ordinance is done within the meeting of the Wayne County
Commission. The Commission’s Committee of the Whole is a forum for extensive
discussion on issues by the 15 members of the Wayne County Commission.
Meetings are scheduled at the call of the Chair of the Commission.
The Commission also has eight standing committees which deliberate contracts,
ordinances and resoultions before forwarding them to full commission
