2025 Park Permits
Reservations for 2025 start on Monday, March 3, 2025 at 7:00 AM. Check back for more information in February.

Nankin Mills Interpretive Center
The Nankin Mills Interpretive Center is open Monday - Friday from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM for the public to enjoy the nature and history displays. In addition, the front desk is open for dog park registration, metal detector permits and general questions. The address for the Nankin Mills Intepretive Center is 33175 Ann Arbor Trail in Westland.

Wayne County Parks Dog Park
Registration for the dog park season (Now - April 30, 2025) is open at the Nankin Mills Interpretive Center in Westland. Registration hours are Monday - Friday from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM and the address for the Nankin Mills Interpretive Center is 33175 Ann Arbor Trail in Westland. Click HERE for the dog park rules and membership application form. Please note, you will need to bring copies of your city dog license and rabies/distemper vaccination records to register your dog and the membership is not pro-rated.

Enjoy a hike over the trails at Crosswinds Marsh as the sun sets over the marsh. Please bring a thermos and a flashlight with a red setting if you have one. The hike will be approximately 1.5 miles long over a surface of gravel and boardwalk.
