Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged Kenneth Dwight Davis, 28, of Detroit, in connection with the sexual assaults of an 80-year-old woman, and a 64-year-old woman, both of Detroit.

March 26, 2023 - 80-year-old Victim - Home in the 12860 block of Memorial Street

On March 26, 2023, at approximately 9:00 p.m., it is alleged that Defendant Davis broke into the victim's home in the 12860 block of Memorial Street in Detroit and demanded money and food. It is then alleged that the defendant forced the victim outside, and sexually assaulted her, before fleeing the scene.

He has been charged with two counts of First-Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct - During Felony, one count of First-Degree Home Invasion, and one Count of Fourth-Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct *

April 3, 2023 - 64-year-old Victim - Area of Grand River Avenue and Ferguson Street

On April 3, 2023, at approximately 5:10 a.m., the victim was walking in the area of Grand River Avenue and Ferguson Street in Detroit when it is alleged that the Defendant approached her. It is further alleged that the defendant forced a victim behind a building in the 16840 block of Grand River before sexually assaulting her and fleeing the scene.

He has been charged with three counts of Third-Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct - Force or Coercion and one count of Fourth-Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct. *

Investigation by the Detroit Police Department assisted by the Michigan State Police led to the defendant's arrest on April 4, 2023. Further facts and evidence about these cases will come out in court at the Preliminary Examination.

"Sexual assault is at its core a horrifying crime under any and all circumstances. It is a literal intrusion of a person's very being," said Prosecutor Kym Worthy. When our cherished elders and other of our must vulnerable citizens are violated, it adds layers of outrage to this already outrageous crime."

He was arraigned and remanded to jail today in 36th District Court. The Probable Cause Conference is scheduled for April 18, 2023, before Judge Kenneth King. Please request a photograph of the defendant from the Detroit Police Department.
