Community Library Program Services
The Wayne County Community Library Program serves more than 250,000 people in eleven municipalities through seven public library branches. The County hires and oversees 65 library employees. A computer network, funded by the participating municipalities, connects the libraries with more than 50 other public libraries throughout Southeast Michigan. A combined database of more than three million books is maintained on the system.
