Home School Maple Sugaring will be held on Thursday, March 6, from 1:00 PM-2:30 PM at Nankin Mills Interpretive Center in Westland.
Participants will participate in an interactive presentation on the history and process of maple sugaring and then take part in identifying and tapping a maple tree. Rounding out their experience will be a taste of REAL MAPLE SYURP! The indoor presentation will be followed by a short hike of approximately a half mile. Parts of the trail are dirt and may be slippery. Please dress for the weather.

This program is recommended for ages five and older.
