NCVRW 2025 Survivor/Victim Walk
In recognition of National Crime Victims' Rights Week, the WCPO Victim Services Unit will be participating in the NCVRW 2025 Survivor/Victim Walk, hosted by the Detroit Crime Victim Action Team (DCVAT). The walk will take place on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Belle Isle Park. This event honors survivors and victims of crime, raises awareness, and reflects on the progress of the victims' rights movement. It promotes kinship, connection, and healing while encouraging participation in support of justice and advocacy.This event is free to attend and is open to all ages! There will also be signage upon your arrival to direct you to the starting point. Please note that if you do not have a Recreation Passport, there is an entrance fee for Belle Isle Park.

NCVRW 2025: Know the Signs - Education, Awareness, and Action
In recognition of National Crime Victims' Rights Week, the Detroit Crime Victims' Action Team (DCVAT) will be hosting a discussion on various threats that impact students and young adults - from dating violence to trafficking, sextortion, and fraud schemes. The event will be held at Henry Ford College on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
This event is free and open to college students, faculty, and community members.

NCVRW 2025 Community Event & Resource Fair
In recognition of National Crime Victims' Rights Week, the Detroit Crime Victims' Action Team (DCVAT) will be hosting a community event and resource fair. The event will be held at the Wayne County Criminal Justice Center on Friday, April 11, 2025, starting at 12:00 p.m. Following the event, the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office will be hosting a wellness fair featuring vendors, food trucks, resources, and more.
