2021 Wayne County School Threat Letters
Prosecutor Worthy has sent the attached letters in English, Spanish, Arabic, and Bengali to school administrators throughout Wayne County at the beginning of each school year since 2018. The Hmong letter was added and distributed in Fall 2021. These letters are routinely disseminated by local school administrations in their districts. Prosecutor Worthy urges parents and guardians to review the attached letter and speak with their children about school threats.

In Wayne County these cases are investigated and brought to WCPO by local law enforcement agencies. The cases are reviewed and charged in our Juvenile Unit.
