Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged Ian Andrew Sharpe, 31, of Allen Park, in connection with the fatal stabbing of his grandmother, Patricia Anderson, 84, also of Allen Park.
On April 16, 2025, at approximately 6:00 p.m., at a residence in the 10000 block of Allen Pointe Drive in Allen Park, it is alleged that Defendant Sharpe stabbed the victim multiple times with a knife, fatally injuring her, before moving her body to another location. He was arraigned and remanded to jail this morning in 24th District Court. The Probable Cause Conference is scheduled for April 28, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., before Judge Richard Page. Please request a photograph of the defendant from the Allen Park Police Department.
*The charges are allegations and defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
