Detroit Man Charged in Double Fatal Shooting
Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged Keith Alan Arrington, Jr., 30, of Detroit, in connection with the fatal shootings of Lattriece Galloway, 21, and Edward Clark, 40, also of Detroit.
On February 14, 2025, at approximately 12:32 a.m., Detroit police officers were dispatched to a residence in the 15300 block of Coyle Street for a reported shooting. Upon their arrival, officers located both victims in the basement of the home suffering gunshot wounds. Medics arrived on the scene and pronounced both victims deceased.
It is alleged that an argument between the defendants escalated, and Defendant Arrington produced and fired a shotgun, striking Ms. Galloway in the neck and Mr. Clark in the chest, fatally wounding the victims.
Keith Alan Arrington, Jr. has been charged with two counts of First-Degree Murder, one count of Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and three counts of Felony Firearm.*
He was arraigned and remanded to jail on February 17, 2025, in 36th District Court. The Probable Cause Conference is scheduled for February 25, 2025, at 8:30 a.m., and the Preliminary Examination is scheduled for March 4, 2025, at 1:35 p.m., before Judge Shawn Jacque.
