Canton, MI - Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged Brandon Lee Keel, 22, of Toledo, Ohio, in connection with the theft of a prop trailer from the Plymouth Canton Ballet Company.

On November 17, 2024, at approximately 3:12 a.m., at the Plymouth Canton Ballet Company, located in the 8100 block of Ronda Drive in Canton, it is alleged that Defendant Keel unlawfully removed the trailer from the company's parking lot. Investigation by the Canton Police Department with the assistance of the Monroe County Sheriff's Department led to the arrest of the defendant on December 17, 2024.

Brandon Lee Keel has been charged with Larceny - $20,000 or More and Receiving and Concealing Stolen Property - $20,000 or More.*

He was arraigned on December 19, 2024, in 35th District Court before Judge Plakas. He received a $20,000 personal bond and a GPS tether. He cannot have contact with victims. His Probable Cause Conference is on December 27, 2024, and his Preliminary Examination is on January 3, 2025.
